Students of Debrecen demanded the preparation of a new higher education law Wednesday night.
A thousand students gathered in the main building of the University to protest against the severe reduction of the places in free university education. 6 ideas were formulated: new higher education law, restoration of the free entry places, entry places fully state financed in all disciplines, re-establishment of public funds, cancel of the students contracts and
restoration of the autonomy of universities.
The collecting of singantures has been started and a petition be presented to the decision-makers on 18 December.
